Andrew
Williams, P.E.
President & Sr. Engineer

Mr.
Williams’ education includes a Bachelor
of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester
Polytechnic Institute. After graduating from
WPI, Mr. Williams worked in the medical device
industry as a manufacturing engineer. In this
role, he was responsible for improving existing
designs and processes, as well as introducing
new products into manufacturing, for both electronic
equipment and plastic disposables. In 1999,
Mr. Williams joined GAI. Since that time, he
has investigated hundreds of losses of an electrical
and mechanical nature. Mr. Williams has provided
expert testimony in both state and federal court,
as well as at hearings and arbitrations. He
is a member of ASME, IAAI, IEEE, NAFI, and NFPA,
and UL Standard Technical Panels. Mr. Williams
is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator
and a Registered Professional Engineer.

Matthew
Elliott
Engineer

| Mr.
Elliott’s education includes a Bachelor
of Science in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Massachusetts Amherst. After his
education, Mr. Elliott worked in various electrical
engineering positions, including an electric utility
company and a fire investigation firm. Mr. Elliott
joined GAI in 2007. Since that time, he has investigated
hundreds of losses of an electrical nature. He
is a member of IAAI, IEEE, NAFI, and NFPA. Mr.
Elliott is also a Certified Fire and Explosion
Investigator.

Stephen
J. King, P.I.
Analyst

Mr.
King’s education includes a Bachelor of
Science in Criminal Justice from Westfield State
College, as well as successful completion of the
Massachusetts Fire Academy. After his education,
Mr. King worked in various investigative positions,
including private investigator. He has been a
structural fire firefighter for the Milton Fire
Departmentt since 1998, and in 2006 was named
their fire investigator. Mr. King joined GAI in
2006 on a part-time basis. Since that time, he
has investigated losses related to fires/explosions
and assignments requiring investigative work.
Mr. King has provided testimony in state court.
He is a member of LPDAM, IAAI, NAFI, and NFPA
and is also a Licensed Private Detective.
